Lebanon, IL…State Representative Kevin Schmidt visited Lebanon Elementary School to celebrate them being recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School. Rep. Schmidt congratulated the students, teachers, families, and the entire community for their dedication to academic excellence.
The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program acknowledges schools that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement or significant progress in closing achievement gaps. Lebanon Elementary not only met these standards but surpassed them, earning a well-deserved spot among the prestigious group of Blue Ribbon Schools.
Rep. Schmidt commended Lebanon Elementary, stating, “I’m thrilled to be there to celebrate Lebanon Elementary School’s fantastic achievement. This is a big deal, and I want to take a moment to congratulate each and every one of you—students, teachers, families, and the whole community—for this well-deserved honor.”
As the 40th group of schools to receive this honor, Lebanon Elementary joins over 10,000 awards presented to more than 9,700 schools nationwide.
