State Representative Kevin Schmidt is excited to extend his congratulations to McKendree University on being awarded a grant in the amount of $3,825 by the Illinois Arts Council Agency to support the touring performance of Clifton Truman Daniel, who will be performing as part of their McKendree Presents series on their campus in Lebanon, Illinois.

Performers for this year’s series include the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, Head East, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Giordano Dance Chicago, as well as various local and student performers.
Earlier this week, Rep. Schmidt was invited to the stage of the HETT performing arts building at McKendree University as he personally congratulated them on their grant. He received a tour of the building and learned about everything they have to offer.
