The City of Mascoutah is now home to the all-new Veterans Park! This state-of-the-art facility will host games for the Mascoutah Indians baseball, softball, and a variety of community activities.
The complex also includes expanding parking, concessions, and restrooms, plus a new track and field area.
This sports complex is a symbol of a growing community and support for our veterans!
These new expansions and new additions are courtesy of an enormous combination of skills and talent that very much includes Mascoutah Laborers out of Local 742.
Facility Highlights
- Baseball & Softball Stadiums: Feature over 100 chairback seats, scenic berm seating for overflow fans, recessed dugouts, and premium field lighting.
- Multi-Purpose Turf: Outfields feature a 10-yard striped turf design, making the space highly adaptable for football, soccer, flag football, and other community events.
- Track & Field: Includes a brand-new track and field throws area with spectator seating
- Scenic Aesthetics: The baseball venue provides a beautiful, picturesque view of Prairie Lake beyond centerfield.
- Honoring Veterans: A prominent military monument stands at the park’s entrance as a symbol of pride and community honor
