Schmidt’s Spotlight: Events, News, and More!

The past couple of weeks, I have been busy in the district meeting with constituents, business owners, and working hard to make a positive difference. We have an uphill battle to turn things around in Illinois, but I am committed to standing up for the people I represent and will fight for a better future here in the Prairie State!

I want to thank Dr. Wallace for stopping by my office! We had proactive conversations about improving education and economic growth in East St. Louis and the surrounding areas.

Working together creates stronger communities!

Business of The Month

I encourage individuals or organizations to nominate their favorite business in the 114th District to be recognized as the Business of the Month. Individuals can nominate a 114th District business here or can call 618-215-1050 with questions. We are on a mission to recognize small-business owners who make a positive impact in the communities!

Meeting with the Local Chamber of Commerce

This week I was invited to attend the Dupo Chamber of Commerce meeting as their guest speaker. This was a perfect opportunity to speak directly to constituents about state issues, concerns, and recent legislation that passed. I want to thank the Chamber and everyone who attended and shared their voice!
