Rep. Schmidt to Host Free Shred Event and Canned Food Drive
New Athens, IL…State Representative Kevin Schmidt (R-Millstadt) is hosting a free shred event and canned food drive on July 11 and is encouraging his constituents to attend and bring non-perishable food items for a local pantry. Rep. Schmidt says his shred events offer a safe, secure, and convenient way to dispose of personal documents.
“Shredding documents that contain personal information gives people peace of mind and helps protect against identity theft,” Schmidt said. “I encourage everyone to attend this free event and take advantage of the on-site shred truck.”
When: Saturday, July 11 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
