Illinois residents deserve property tax relief NOW, not additional tax hikes from progressive policies!
I support a state-of-the-art Chicago Bears stadium that would create good paying jobs and economic growth for our state. I joined my House Republican colleagues and signed an open letter to Governor Pritzker stating that we will support future projects that benefit our state and citizens, but not massive tax increases for residents who are already struggling with the high cost of living in Illinois.
What we are asking for is pretty simple:
All property tax referendums to appear only on November ballots
An end to back-door referendums, including bond rollovers without voter approval
We are working to protect Illinois taxpayers because they need relief and they need a government that will prioritize fiscal responsibility!
