State Representative Kevin Schmidt has two of his bills officially signed into law:
HB57: Adds community-integrated living arrangements to the definition of “home” in the Essential Support Person Act. This change will ensure those residents have the same visitation rights for essential support persons as other healthcare facilities.
HB1120: Removes a provision that requires the Secretary of State to designate on each driver’s license issued a space where the licensee may indicate his or her blood type and RH factor. This change was made because medical professionals do not use this information to verify a persons blood type.
