On December 3, State Representative Kevin Schmidt provided a scholarship on behalf of the Legislative Sportsmen Caucus to the East St. Louis Boy Scouts. This scholarship is intended to promote outdoor recreation through youth sporting scholarships. This scholarship will be used to help fund the East St. Louis Boy Scouts.
“They had great questions about what a State Rep does,” Schmidt said of the Boy Scouts. “I’m happy to help fund their program. I hope to be able to bring them up to Springfield when they’re on school break.”
The Legislative Sportsmen Caucus is a bipartisan group of legislators.
