I was honored to attend a Change of Command ceremony yesterday at Scott Air Force Base. Air Mobility Command officially welcomed its new commander, as Gen. John D. Lamontagne assumed command from Gen. Michael A. Minihan. Gen. Minihan is retiring after 34 years of service.
AMC provides critical support to America’s military through airlift, aerial refueling, aeromedical evacuation, and air mobility operations, in addition to responding to humanitarian crises across the globe. Thank you to all who attended and all who were involved with this beautiful ceremony at Scott AFB.
