The following statement is from Rep. Schmidt regarding his “Day in the Life” on August 23rd:
“Last Friday, I had a “Day in the Life” where I visited various locations around my district so people can see what I do:
My Job Fair in East St Louis, visiting historic sites in Cahokia Heights, spending some time at my chiropractic office, heading to the senior center, enjoying the Friday Fish Fry at Ott’s, talking to constituents about state issues at their door, and wrapping up by visiting Millstadt Primary Center.
It was wonderful to spend time speaking to the people I serve and seeing first-hand the hard work they are putting in to better our communities. Although every day looks different, it’s such a blast getting to visit all the communities in my district so I can represent all of you. Thank you to everyone who makes District 114 what it is!”
