NEW BADEN, IL – State Representatives Kevin Schmidt and Charlie Meier are excited to announce a joint “Coffee Talk” at New Baden Civic Center on Tuesday, August 20. This event is a continuation of Representatives Schmidt and Meier’s commitment to offering constituents a chance to talk face-to-face about the issues that are important to them.
“Transparency is lacking in our government, and I am working to change that,” said Rep. Schmidt. “Constituents deserve the opportunity to interact with their Representatives, and what better way than over a cup of coffee!”
Representatives Schmidt and Meier’s district lines are split through New Baden.
“I’m looking forward to sitting down with Rep. Schmidt in New Baden and listening to our constituents,” said Rep. Meier. “I encourage anyone who wants to talk or listen to join us. Let’s work together to address the challenges we face and work together to put forward solutions.”
