This past Tuesday, State Representative Kevin Schmidt visiting local seniors at Revela at O’Fallon Senior Living Facility in O’Fallon. After his visit, he released the following statement:
“I was grateful for the opportunity to meet with some local seniors at Revela at O’Fallon Assisted Living Facility this week,” Rep. Schmidt said. “We spoke about new legislation affecting our seniors. It was a wonderful visit, and I was honored to listen to their needs and concerns. Thank you, Revela at O’Fallon for having me and all the wonderful work you do for our seniors!
A highlight of the visit was meeting Celeste Stiehl, who became the first Assistant House Minority Leader in 1975, making her the first woman in a leadership position in state legislature. Thank you, Celeste, for being a groundbreaker and making history in our state!”
