State Representative Kevin Schmidt has pledged to donate the legislative pay raise he voted against to different local community outreach efforts in his community. This month, he has chosen the Lebanon Food Pantry.
He visited there yesterday and released the following statement: “I’m grateful for the extremely hard-working volunteers at the Lebanon food pantry and the impact they have in our community. As promised, I am donating back my personal pay raise every month to a charitable cause. I voted no on the overall horrible budget which included politician pay raises. Instead, I believe that money deserves to go to causes in our district that are making a real impact. Remember, your local food pantry NEEDS your help. We can make a difference together!”
Rep. Schmidt proudly serves the people of the 114th District.
