Rep. Schmidt joined state and local leaders on Monday for a listening session with Metro East residents about how record-high inflation and high taxes under President Biden and Governor Pritzker are making it difficult for families and seniors on fixed incomes to afford basic necessities and make ends meet. Illinois needs common-sense solutions to reduce the hardship on our residents by lowering taxes and stopping the out-of-control government spending that is fueling the inflation driving up consumer prices.
