Rep. Schmidt Issues Statement on Release of Police Bodycam Footage in Tyre Nichols Case

State Rep. Kevin Schmidt, R-Cahokia Heights, issued the following statement following the release of police bodycam footage in the case of Tyre Nichols in Memphis, Tennessee: “I have seen the video. It’s horrific. I pray for Tyre Nichols’ family and I pray for justice.”
